What to Discuss before Using -

Before taking this medication, tell your doctor if you have: a stomach ulcer or other stomach disease a viral, bacterial, or fungal infection a rare hereditary deficiency of hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyl-transferase (HGPRT) such as Lesch-Nyhan and Kelley-Seegmiller syndrome You may not be able to take this medication, or you may require a lower dose or special monitoring if you have any of the conditions listed above. Before taking the CellCept Oral Suspension, tell your doctor if you have phenylketonuria. This product contains aspartame, which is a source of phenylalanine. In the FDA pregnancy category C. This means that it is not known whether this medication will harm an unborn baby. This medication has caused birth defects in animals, and therefore is not recommended for use during pregnancy.
